Klopp refuses to take questions from them.
Yet our Lady Brady is happy to write for them & take the money.

Can't see a problem? It's hardly newsworthy is it, as it happened YEARS ago, so why drag it all up again?

I might be wrong Cough old son but it might be that it's related to Ben Stokes... you know... the English Cricketer??

Sven Roeder 2:27 Wed Sep 18
Re: The Sun and the Ben Stokes story
‘Revamped’ story?
What has changed that makes it worth dragging up after 30 odd years?
Apart from the fact that Ben Stokes has as higher profile as he ever has after the World Cup and the Ashes?
It’s just sensationalist unnecessary bollocks

Why don’t they concentrate on real news like Rupert Murdoch divorcing his wife Wendy Deng because Tony Blair poked one up her

Bought a copy of the Currant when we stayed up there a couple of years ago... readily available...

Cholo.... The Sun has done plenty of shit over the years but in this case I can't see the problem... it's a revamped story.. it's not fabricated... it was in the public domain if you looked hard enough... and plenty of other papers have since run with the story... lets be honest if ITV done a Piers Morgan special on this there would be plenty of gholuish cunts on here watching it... paper snobs.. I shit em...

They didn't do that very well though. When the Sun was a paid-for website, the highest concentration of subscribers in the country was in Merseyside

You mean the place where the minority that still wanted to read it mostly HAD to read it online because most newsagents refused to stock it?

Paper snobs?

Having some standards is not the same as being a snob. Choosing to not eat dog shit doesn't make you a food snob.

Re: The Sun and the Ben Stokes story
There is clearly no correlation between the Guardian/Observer and the Sun newspapers.
One publication has had a more or less continual centre/centre left stance and the other has chosen to curry favour with whichever horse has looked like winning the government race GE by GE.

The Guardian apologised recognised their standards had badly slipped and retracted.

The Scum is by far the scummiest

Re: The Sun and the Ben Stokes story
It is unnecessary and doesn't really qualify as news. Still, at least they reported it as being tragic, rather than belittling the death of a child like the guardian, so they remain in only 2nd place in terms of Britain's scummiest newspapers

I never even knew what happened but apparently it happened long before Stokes was born and it was widely publicised at the time, what in the fuck makes it all newsworthy now?

Sun, utter scum

It’s unnecessary, disgusting, distasteful and totally wrong.

But it’s got the sun publicity and made them a few bob so they won’t give a shit

Feel so sorry for stokes’ mum though - I hope the rest of the press leave her be and don’t hound her over this for extra info

Not sure about this one. It all seems a bit unnecessary, but it is not as though it wasn’t all out there anyway.
